400 Indians kept in Thakur Ram Campus, Birgunj

BIRGUNJ: District Administrative Office, Parsa has kept 400 Indians under control in Thakur Ram Campus, Birgunj.

They had come to Raksaul, Nepal-India border from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning to go back to their home country.

According to Chief of District Police SP Ganga Panta, they reached the place with the hope to return to their homes.

She said that they are currently holding discussion for providing food and shelter to the Indians stranded at the border.

It should be noted that the authorities from Nepal and India had earlier decided to provide food and shelter to the people of respective countries who have been stranded due to the lockdown in both the countries.

As per the decision, the Indian government is providing food to around 700 Nepalis stranded in Dharchula.
