NCP leader thrashed in Baitadi



BAITADI: A local leader of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been thrashed in the district.

NCP Ward Committee member of Dashrath Chand Municipality-10 Prakash Lawad was attacked at the premises of the ward office on Friday.

Lawad has accused Trilok Bista of attacking him.

He has been undergoing treatment at Baitadi District Hospital.

According to the District Police Office, the man behind the attack has been nabbed and a further investigation was underway.
