India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 137,600 mark

NEW DELHI: India recorded 31,179 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,463,254.

Currently, 437,000 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 8,888,595 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 137,600 mark.

With 482 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 137,659, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
