KATHMANDU: Spokesperson of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the split of the party can never be right and correct.

Leader Shrestha has also urged party rank and file to take initiative to protect party unification.

In a message on social media on Sunday, Shrestha said, “Our party unity has been achieved with great revolutionary objective at the center and with a lot of hard work and perseverance. Its failure and split of party can never be fair and right.”

Leader Shrestha has also proposed to hold a party meeting and openly discuss all issues.

“Discussions, debates and differences within the party may ultimately be related to ideas, principles, political line and concepts for the formation and operation of the revolutionary party, but there is no clear disagreement yet. Therefore, at this time, in order to protect the party unity, it is enough for everyone to have sincere commitment to the same thing, to follow and implement the party’s method, system and decision,” Shrestha said.
