Bagmati Province Chief Prasain, Chief Minister Poudel test negative for virus



HETAUDA: Chief of Bagmati State Bishnu Prasad Prasain recovered from the coronavirus infection on Sunday.

Testing positive for the virus on October 28, Prasain was staying in home isolation at his private residence in Jhapa. Prasain’s secretariat said that he tested negative for the virus on Sunday.

Similarly, Chief Minister for Bagmati Province Dormani Poudel returned home on Sunday by winning the battle against coronavirus. In the PCR test conducted at Provincial Laboratory in Dhulikhel on Saturday, he tested negative for the virus.

Being discharged from the hospital, the Chief Minister has returned to his official residence at Bhainsepati in Lalitpur, Chief Minister’s press coordinator Prakash Dahal said.

Poudel’s health condition is normal, according to Dahal.
