Bagmati Province to displace tuins



KATHMANDU: The Bagmati Provincial government is preparing to displace cable contraptions, locally known as tuin.

Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development Rameshwar Phunyal vowed that such bridges would be displaced in this fiscal year.

The Minister shared that the technical teams were deputed to carry out detailed study and report would be received soon which forward the decision to action.

He also informed that works would advance to repair rajkulo (ancient irrigation canal) in different eight districts.
Minister Phunyal also shared that the budget was released to construct about 100 motorable bridges in different remote areas in the province.

He also added the Posta Bahadur Bogati-Bhimphedi- Kulekhani tunnel way would be completed within four years as bidding for it was announced.
