KATHMANDU: Nepal Students Union (NSU) has urged the authorites to take stern action against those schools charging more fees in admission for grade 11.
The NSU, the student wing of the main opposition party Nepali Congress, issuing press release today, opined to carry out monitoring as several complaints were received that most of the schools were charging additional fees in course of enrollment of grade 11 students.
On another note, NSU president Rajiv Dhungana demanded to make easier management for the PCR test to all. He further demanded to take stern action against those involved in the rape and subsequent killing of a 12-year-old girl of Bajhang district.
The NSu president has also called on the government to fulfill the demands put forth by Dr Govinda KC. Dr KC is on a fast-unto-death since the last two weeks putting forth various demands related to reforms in the medical education sector.
