NEPSE registers double-digit growth



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has risen by double-digit on Thursday.

On the last trading day of the week, the NEPSE index increased by 20.61 points and reached 1,571.04.

Similarly, the Sensitive Index increased by 2.98 points to 310.15. A total of 9.93 million shares of 192 companies were traded at a price of Rs 2.80 billion.

Of the total 12 sub-indices traded, shares of two sub-indices declined today while shares of 10 sub-indices rose. Hydropower fell by 24.76 points and collective investment funds by 0.01 points.

Similarly, banking 18.86, trade 19.53, hotel 8.08, development bank 65.48, finance 5.79, non-life insurance 332.41, manufacturing 49.79, others 2.97, microfinance 20.81 and life insurance increased by 157.33 points.
