Rupandehi reports another COVID-19 death



BUTWAL: Rupandehi has witnessed another death from the coronavirus on Thursday.

A 65-year-old coronavirus infected man from Belahiya in Siddharthanagar Municipality-1 of Rupandehi died at the Universal Teaching Hospital in Bhairahawa this morning, Information Officer Sushil Gurung said.

Gurung said that he was admitted to the hospital on Monday and was shifted to ventilator support the next day after being diagnosed positive for the coronavirus.

Earlier today, two more people had died from the coronavirus at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
