Govt recommends Dr Nirmal Kumar Bishwokarma as envoy to S Africa



KATHMANDU: The government has recommended Dr Nirmal Kumar Bishwokarma as ambassador to South Africa.

A cabinet meeting held on Thursday morning recommended Bishwokarma from Buddhabhumi Municipality Ward No. 9 of Kapilvastu.

At the same meeting, former Finance Minister Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada and Lokdarshan Regmi were recommended ambassadors to the US and the UK respectively.

The recommended ambassadors will be appointed after the parliament hearing endorses their names.
