56-yr-old man dies of COVID-19 in Dharan



KATHMANDU: A man has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.

According to Dr Nidesh Sapkota, the spokesperson for the Institute, a 56-year-old man of Itahari-6, Sunsari, succumbed to the virus on Wednesday night.

The patient had been referred to Dharan from Birat Medical College after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

He was also suffering from high fever, dry cough and respiratory complications – symptoms similar to the coronavirus.
