Five including transport office’s employee sent to jail for forgery



MAHENDRANAGAR: Kanchanpur District Court has remanded five persons including Jitendra Rana, an assistant computer operator at the Transport Management Office, Kailali, to custody.

They were arrested on the charge of forgoing government seal and signature.

A single bench of Judge Gopal Bastola remanded them in the case of being involved in the gang for selling stolen motorcycles and scooters by making fake documents.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapa said that five accused in the case have been sent to jail and ten others have been released on bail.

According to him, Rana, Ram Niwas Rana of Laljandi Rural Municipality of Kanchanpur, Shyam Kumar Rana of Shuklaphanta Municipality, Harendra Rana of Bedkot Municipality-6 and Subesh Rana of Bedkot Municipality-10 have been jailed for trial.
