Former Justice Chalise succumbs to coronavirus



KATHMANDU: Former Justice at the Appellate Court Pokhara, Madhav Prasad Chalise has died of coronavirus in Kathmandu this morning.

Seventy-year-old Chalise breathed his last while receiving treatment at the Basbari-based Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center on Tuesday.

Heart patient Chalise was admitted to the hospital on August 27, according to Chairman of Kathmandu Metropolitan City ward-3 Dipak KC.

Chalise was tested positive for coronavirus in the course of treatment.
