Govt likely to extend prohibitory order in Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU: The government plans to extend the existing prohibitory orders in the Kathmandu Valley for another one week.

Kathmandu Chief District Officer (CDO) Janak Raj Dahal informed that CDOs of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur are holding a virtual meeting, which is likely to extend the prohibitory orders in the Valley.

The current lockdown is ending on Wednesday mid-night.

“We will come up with a common decision in this regard,” Dahal said.
