65-yr-old man dies of coronavirus in Dharan



SUNSARI: An elderly man infected with coronavirus has succumbed to the pandemic in Dharan in Sunsari district.

A 65-year-old man from Mirchaiya-3, Siraha died in the course of treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

According to Dr Nidesh Sapkota, the spokesperson for the Institute, the patient died at 8:45 pm on Monday.

He had been referred to Dharan from Birat Teaching Hospital, Biratnagar on August 26.

According to Dr Sapkota, he had been suffering from fever, headache, dry cough and respiratory complications.

With this, the number of deaths from the coronavirus has reached 17 at the Institute.
