BIRATNAGAR: Minister for Social Development of Province 1 Jeevan Ghimire has tested positive for coronavirus.
Minister Ghimire was confirmed infected during his swab test carried out at the provincial laboratory in Biratnagar on Monday night.
Ghimire was suffering from a bout of diarrhea and fever since he returned after infecting Dhankuta Hospital on August 29, informed the Secretariat of Ghimire.
He has been staying in home isolation since last Saturday. His health condition is said to be normal.
