Prachanda seeks govt’s attention to stop road accidents



KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda‘ has sought the government’s attention towards the road accident during the lockdown period.

In his social media post, NCP Chairman Prachanda has expressed his grievances at the loss of lives in the road accident that took place at Banke’s Rapti Sonari on Sunday midnight and requested the government to ensure the arrangement of free treatment to the injured in the accident.

“I am grieved to learn about the tragic road accident at Banke’s Rapti Sonari sector of East-West Highway,” Prachanda said, “I urge the concerned authority to heed at the loss of lives in road accidents during the lockdown.”

12 people had lost their lives when 21 more were seriously injured when a bus taking them home collided with a truck at East-West Highway’s Rapti Sonari sector in Banke on Sunday midnight.
