COVID-19 cases climb to 166 in Karnali Pradesh, with 43 new cases



JUMLA: New 43 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Karnali Pradesh.

Karnali Academy of Health Sciences reported 43 additional infection cases in a press release issued on Sunday night.

With this the number of infection cases in the province has reached 166.

Among those infected, 24 are from Narayan municipality, Simada, Sot, Sadu, Jukepani and Dullu rural municipality of Dailekh district.

Similarly, 17 are from Hima, Sinja rural municipalities of Jumla district, according to Karnali Academy of Health Sciences.

Karnali Pradesh had reported a first COVID-19 case on May 18.
