Brazil reports 29, 314 deaths, 514,849 infection cases



KATHMANDU: The death toll in Brazil has crossed 29,000 from Coronavirus in the last five months.

According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 29, 314 after 480 died in the last 24 hours.

With 16, 409 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 514,849 as of Monday morning.

Currently, 278,980 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8,318 are critical. Meanwhile, 206,555 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 373,848 and infecting 6,262, 422 people as of Monday morning.
