KATHMANDU: House of Rajkarnicar is organizing Seventh Food & Beverage and Hospitality exhibition in Brikuti Mandap, Kathmandu from November 8 to November 10.

The three-day food, beverage & hospitality event has been organized in a bid to promote Nepali dishes. The organizers expect over 40,000 visitors including 15,000 business visitors in the exhibition.

Speaking at a press meet in Kathmandu today, Birendra Rajkarnicar, Managing Director of the House of Rajkarnicar informed that the exhibition mainly focuses on business to business trade. The highlight of the event is to meet the sellers and buyers under one roof, he said.

Similarly, the title sponsor of the event, Century Group’s CEO Atul Nagar said the food and beverage industry in Nepal is growing persistently which brings transformation change with competitiveness and challenges.

He said, “It is the best place to show the products to the target consumer and other trade companies. The event delivers a full-range of knowledge about the program and creates a bigger opportunity.”

The event hopes to attract hoteliers, restaurant owners and managers, clubs and bar/pub owners and managers, party-palace owners and managers, canteen operators of schools, colleges; hostels and hospitals, caterers, chefs, bartenders, super-markets and grocery store owners, bakeries, snacks and processed food manufacturers, agro-processing manufacturers, tent houses and general consumers.

As a visitor, a consumer will encounter a wider selection of products, services, producers and suppliers, informed Nagar.

The exhibition will host about 5000 products and services, 200 companies, 150 booths including 7 interactive live special events over the course of 3 days.

Special events include Sneak Preview, Mocktail Reception, Retailers Power Breakfast Reception, Best Barista Contest, Morning Best Bartender Contest, and Master Chef Challenge.

The exhibition has forged partnerships with HOTREMAI, ARCHII, and Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management.

The event is endorsed by Hotel Association Nepal, Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal, Eva-Nepal and Chef Association Nepal, and Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum — Nepal Chapter.

Food & Beverage and Hospitality 2019 hopes to clearly define and demonstrate the power of live marketing and set pace and precedence for Visit Nepal 2020.
