On-the-road health checkup to minimize road accidents



TANAHUN: District Police Office, Tanahun and Traffic Police Office have jointly conducted general health checkup on the road to minimize road accidents due to poor eyesight of the drivers.

The District Traffic Police Office conducted the health checkup of the drivers of cargo trucks plying Damauli-Dumre road section of Prithvi Highway, said SP Binod Silwal.

According to DSP Purna Bahadur Adhikari, a total of 126 drivers underwent health checkup including eye and blood pressure checkup. Three among those who underwent health checkup were found having poor eye-sight while 16 had high blood pressure.
