Police arrest two on rape charge



NAWALPARASI: Police have arrested two persons in the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl of the Nawalparasi district.

Those arrested are Lok Bahadur Khatri, 41, and Narayan Shrestha, 60, of Sunawal municipality of the district. They have been alleged of raping the girl several times for the past one a half months.

Police arrested them on the basis of a complaint filed by the girl’s family, said inspector Yogendra Bahadur Hamal.

A case against the rapists has been filed, police said.
