WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump vowed to impose a tariff on all goods coming from Mexico, media reports have said.

Trump’s announcement comes amid the surge of illegal immigrants across the southern border.

Trump’s move escalates his effort to control a wave of tens of thousands of asylum seekers from the southern border.

His announcement, however, has upset the investors who fear of worsening trade friction could hurt the global economy. (Agencies)
