At least 7 die in Afghan blast

KABUL: A car bomb exploded in Kabul today killing at least seven people, international media reports said citing Afghan authorities.

The bomb, reports said, apparently targeted at a convoy of vehicles that belonged to an international organization.

This is the second attack in Kabul, the Afghan capital, in two days.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. An official said it was a suicide attack targeting foreigners.

According to the official, seven Kabul residents had been killed by the blast, damaging the SUV-type vehicles in the convoy. (Agencies)
