President’s new salary Rs 177,531 per month

KATHMANDU: The government has hiked the salary of VVIPs including lawmakers to the president. According to the new increment , a lawmaker will receive Rs 65,172 in salary per month.

The lawmaker’s salary was Rs 55, 230 previously. Similarly, a minister will receive Rs 71,974, deputy prime minister Rs 76,936, and prime minister will receive Rs 91,190, as per the new increment.

Likewise, vice president’s salary has been increased from 1,08,030 to 127,474 while that of president from 150,450 to 177,531. This new salary increment will be effective from mid-July.
