APF constable arrested with bribe

KATHMANDU: A constable of Armed Police Force (APF) has been arrested with Rs 5,500 bribe.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested constable Sachit Narayan Bishwas red-handed with the kickback.

Bishwas, deployed at Border Outpost, had received the bribe from a service seeker assuring to facilitate import of onions from India.

A team of anti-graft body deployed from Itahari nabbed him from Biratnagar Metropolis-11.
