KATHMANDU: A rehearsal for the 13th South Asian Games (SAG), which is set to begin on December 1, has been done at Dasharath Stadium in the capital.

The rehearsal was organized with much fanfare with numerous shots of fire crackers amid colorful lights illuminating the sky of Tripureshwar on Friday evening.

The SAG will officially kick off on Sunday morning.

According to the SAG Organizing Committee, over 15, 000 artists are performing at the inauguration program. President Bidya Bhandari will inaugurate the program which will last for 14 minutes.

Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan are participating in the multi-sports event.
