Factory fire kills 19 in east China



HANGZHOU: A total of 19 people have been killed in a factory fire in the city of Ningbo, east China’s Zhejiang Province, local authorities said Monday.

The fire broke out in the factory of a daily necessities company in Ninghai County at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, according to the county government.

As of 6 a.m. Monday, 19 people have been killed. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
