Sholay’s ‘Kaaliya’ dies at 77



MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Viju Khote, popularly known as ‘Kaaliya’ passed away at the age of 77 in Mumbai today.

The actor has appeared in more than 300 Hindi, Marathi films, and several television shows and plays.

Khote made his big-screen debut with Ya Malak in 1964.

His popular films include Sholay, Qurbani, Karz, Andaz Apna Apna, Nagina and China Gate, among others.

His last film was Jaane Kyun De Yaaron in 2018. (Agencies)
