KATHMANDU: Light rain is likely to continue for the next three days with partly to generally cloudy weather in the eastern and western regions of the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), Kathmandu, the axis of monsoon trough is lying around the area of Gujarat of India and the Arabian Sea which will affect the weather of eastern and central regions of Nepal.
Due to these two reasons, the light rain is occurring in the eastern region and causing weather partly to fully cloudy in the eastern and central regions, said MFD.
