Japanese lawmakers call on President Bhandari

KATHMANDU: A visiting delegation from Japan’s House of Representatives led by Inada Tomomi today called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

On the occasion, matters relating to bilateral relations between the two countries, mutual interests and concern were discussed. Likewise, the socio-economic and political life of the women of both countries, and the enhancement of their participation in such areas also featured in the discussions in the meeting.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior officials from Nepal and Japan governments were present on the occasion.
