FM Gyawali leaves for China

KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Gyawali today left for China to participate in the 13th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions being to be held in Dalian from 1 to 3 July.

The theme of the Annual Meeting is ‘Leadership 4.0: Succeeding in a New Era of Globalization.’

According to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Minister Gyawali will address the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders. He will also participate in the session on ‘Shaping the G20 Agenda for 2020.’

He is also scheduled to speak in two separate sessions ‘Climate Change: the Next Financial Crisis?’ and ‘A New Balance of Power’ on 2 July.

Apart from this, Minister Gyawali will hold meetings with political and business leaders. Gyawali is scheduled to leave for Beijing on 3 July where he will hold meetings with Chinese authorities.
