POKHARA: A child has drowned while swimming in a pond with his friends. The incident took place on Saturday evening.
Nischal Thapa, 11, of Kilchowk in ward no. 3 of Myade Rural Municipality of Tanahu died on the spot in the incident.
Thapa had gone for swimming with two other friends, when the incident took place and he died on the spot, according to DSP at the District Police Office, Karki Raj Kumar KC.
