President Bhandari welcomed in Lhasa



BEIJING: President Bidya Devi Bhandari, who is on a nine-day state visit to China, has arrived in Lhasa from Beijing. The President on a visit to the northern neighbor on an invitation of her Chinese counterpart.

Upon her arrival at Lhasa-based Gongar Airport, she was received by executive vice president of Tibet autonomous region.

During the visit, the President addressed the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation at China National Convention Center on April 26. Nepal and China signed seven agreements in her presence.
