Govt overlooks NGOs’ irregularities

KATHMANDU: The Nepal government has overlooked Non Government Organizations (NGOs) even though they have misappropriated over 6 billion 380 million rupees leaving it in the dark.

The government has has been able to take action against them despite a huge embezzlement due to the influence of NGOs’ operators over the government officials.

The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizen, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Home Affairs have not yet initiated action against them.

NGOs have received a huge amount of money from the donor agencies and countries a huge amount of money and spent leaving concerned bodies.
