Nidhi rules out possibility of Hindu state

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi has ruled out the possibility of reinstating Nepal as a Hindu state.

Speaking at a program in Chitwan today, Nidhi said even Nepali Congress is not in favor of the agenda.

He also dismissed claims of restoration of monarchy. “It’s a mere daydream,” he said.

On a different note, Nidhi said Nepal has to welcome foreign investors to accomplish the country’s goal of prosperity.
