CHITWAN: Chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that his party will secure a two-third majority in the next general election.
Stating that the government’s performance in the next three years would win the party a two-third majority, Dahal claimed that the party and the government have ensured through their works that they would secure two-third majority on its own.
He was speaking at a program at Icchakamana rural municipality of Chitwan today.
Dahal said his party would also organize programs after the central committee meeting to enthuse the party cadres.
In another context, Dahal maintained that NCP lost at some places during the by-election due to party’s over confidence of winning.
He also talked about Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipu Lekh saying that the government was taking diplomatic initiative to bring back those places encroached by India.
