NCP organizing Dashain tea party, to invite 100,000 guests



KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) said it is hosting a tea party on the occasion of Dashain, Tihar, Chhath and Nepal Sambat New Year.

The NCP said over 100,000 people are expected to attend the event at Bhrikutimandap on October 16.

A meeting of the preparation committee coordinated by NCP General Secretary Bishnu Paudel today decided to begin distributing the invitation from Monday.

The party said it would invite political leaders, representatives of diplomatic agencies, members from the business community, officials of constitutional bodies, artistes, members from various other sectors, among others.
