Wild elephant kills elderly woman in Chitwan



CHITWAN: A person was killed due to the attack by a wild elephant at Madi Municipality in Chitwan district on Saturday night.

Police identified the victim as 62-year-old Kaushi Maya Tamang of Daupati, Madi municipality-1.

She was attacked by a wild elephant at 9.45 pm on Saturday while walking on the way near her house.

Tamang died instantaneously in the elephant attack.
