Court remands producer Sahi to 7 more days in custody

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court on Thursday remanded film producer and distributor Govinda Sahi to seven more days in judicial custody.

He was arrested for deceiving other producers of movie ‘Lily Bily’ by allegedly hiding profit of the film. Another producer Sudeep Khadka had lodged a complaint with the police. However, Sahi has been denying any wrongdoings.

A team from the Metropolitan Police Division had arrested Sahi on August 22.
