Nepal U-19: Nepal taking on Badureliya Club in 2nd practice match today

KATHMANDU: Nepali U-19 cricket team is taking on Badureliya Sports Club, a first class cricket team in Sri Lanka, in the second practice match to be held at Surrey Cricket Ground in Maggon, on Thursday.

Nepal suffered a three-wicket defeat at the hand of Sinhalese Sports Club in the first practice match played at Sinhalese Sports Club Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday.

Nepal will play the last practice match with Chilaw Marians Cricket Club.

Nepali U-19 cricket team is, currently, in Sri Lanka for the preparation of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup to be held  from September 5 to 14.

Nepal, which falls in Group B, will play host nation Sri Lanka on September 6, with Bangladesh on September 8 and with the UAE on September 10 in the group stage match.

India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Kuwait are in group A. The top two teams from each group will secure berth in the semi finals.
