Rs 3.99 billion allocated for sports

KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 3.99 billion budget for sports in the fiscal budget of 2019-20.

Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada announced that necessary budget has been allocated for the 13th South Asian Games and ninth National Games.

Likewise, Rs 100 million has been allocated for the under-construction international cricket stadium in Mulpani.
