Deuba comes down heavily against govt.

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that his party will prove to be an effectual opposition in Parliament.

Speaking at the first meeting of the Budget Session of Parliament on Monday, he came down heavily on the incumbent government for failing to book the culprits behind the much-talked-about Nirmala rape and murder case.

He added that the government has failed to maintain law and order in the country.

The former Prime Minister said that the government was attempting to institutionalize corruption by turning a deaf ear to high-profile corruption cases.
