KATHMANDU: Chitwan Rhinos has lifted the title of Pokhara Premier League (PPL) 2019 defeating Biratnagar Titans by 32 runs in the final match held in Pokhara on Saturday.

Biratnagar managed to get only 170 runs on the board losing seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs while chasing the 203-run target set by Chitwan.

Muhammad Zaid Alam top-scored for Biratnagar at 57 runs as Pradeep Airee made 36 runs.

Karan KC of Chitwan grabbed three wickets in his kitty while Sunny Patel took two wickets.

Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Chitwan notched-up 202 runs on the board in the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Rohan Mustafa and Anil Sah contributed an equal 50 runs.

Muhammad Zaid Alam and Puneet Mehra or Biratnagar took two wickets each.
