Woman arrested for offering bribe to cops

BIRGUNJ: Bara Police have arrested a woman on the charge of offering bribe to cops.

The arrested is 35-year-old Ambika Khatun of Birgunj Metropolis-2.

Khatun had offered Rs 28,000 kickback to cops asking them to return the goods seized for evading customs.

She has been handed over to Hetauda office of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for further investigation.

The seized goods have been sent to Birgunj Customs Office, police said.
