Two workers die as mound of mud caves in

KATHMANDU: Two workers deployed for road construction died when they were buried by a mud mound that caved in on Thursday at Matatirtha.

According to Police Inspector Shankar Khadka at Metropolitan Police Range, Balambu, Prem Pun, 31 and Prakash Gharti of Babai Rural Municipality-1 died in the incident at Matatirtha-8.

The dead bodies have been kept at Om Samaj Hospital.
