Nepal to take on Bhutan in SAG men’s football inaugural



KATHMANDU: The men’s football under the South Asian Games (SAG) will be played on a round-robin basis as India and Pakistan have declined to compete.

Nepal will kick off its journey with a match against Bhutan on December 3, compete against Sri Lanka on December 4, taken on the Maldives on December 6 and play against Bangladesh on December 8.

At the end of the round-robin matches, two top teams in the point table will play the final.

All the matches will be played at the Tripureshwor-based Dashrath Stadium. Nepal U-23 is making final preparations for the regional tournament.
