Houses handed over to Nuwakot quake survivors

NUWAKOT: Seventeen houses constructed under the integrated housing program by the Hyolmo Foundation on the initiatives of MountainToMountain, a Switzerland-based institution, have been handed over to the 2015 earthquake victims at Gaukharka of Dupcheshwor rural municipality-2 in Nuwakot.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai, lawmaker Hit Bahadur Tamang, Deputy Speaker of State 3 Radhika Tamang and chairperson of Dupcheshwor rural municipality Yobindra Singh Tamang jointly handed over the houses to the victims.

Minister Bhattarai said that the government’s priority was to rebuilt houses and structures damaged in the quake.
