Tremor felt in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: An earthquake with 5 on the Richter scale rocked the central region on Wednesday evening.

The tremor was recorded at 10.8 pm with its epicenter in Sindhupalchowk, according to the National Seismological Center, Lainchaur.

The tremors were felt in Sindhupalchowk, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kavre, Ramechhap and Dolakha.

Earlier, on November 27, an earthquake with 5.7 on the Richter scale had jolted the far-west region with its epicenter in Bajhang.
