CHITWAN: A person died in a road accident at Jutpani of Kalika municipality-8 in Chitwan district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Sikshya Aryal, 14, a pillion rider, of Jutpani of Kalika municipality-8, police said.
The accident occurred when a bus bearing registration number — Ga 1 Kha 267– heading towards Tanahun from Kalika municipality hit a motorcycle — Na 58 Pa 6385 — while crossing the road.
Motorcyclist Chandra Bahadur Bhatta, 49, of Bharatpur metropolitan City, and pillion rider were injured in the accident.
However, pillion rider Aryal died in course of treatment. The bus driver has been arrested.
